According to the Japanese, everyone has an ikigai directly translated to ‘Reason for Being’ — what a French philosopher might call a raison d’etre. Some people have found their ikigai, while others are still looking, though they carry it within them. Our ikigai is the reason we get up in the morning. Those who discovered their ‘ikigai’ have everything they need for a long and joyful journey through life.

Searching/Found conveys the emotions such as lostness, conflict, peace, comfort and calmness we feel as we go through our shared experience of finding and searching for our ‘Reason for Being’, through the manipulation of fabrics using stitching and other means of assembling all natural, synthetic fibers and materials that can evoke such emotions.
